Quick Note On 2025 ATH Michael Terry III

Texas offered 2025 Alamo Heights ATH Michael Terry III over the weekend during the Junior Day.

Terry did not shy away from discussing how much the Texas offer meant to him. Following the trip, Terry mentioned Texas joined TCU and Texas Tech in his top 3 grouping.

Should Texas fully pursue Terry, I would give them the nod in this recruitment. There are some connections to the Texas program here that will work in the Longhorns' favor behind the scenes.

The Longhorns did not discuss a specific position on the trip with Terry which is interesting. The do-it-all athlete has been recruited mostly at WR, though there have been other offers ranging across the field, including corner and safety.

The 6-foot-3 athlete is ranked as the 11th player in the state of Texas for the 2025 cycle per the composite rankings.

He loves Texas but we need to pick up the love. Otherwise team like Oregon will come swoop him away. I would like to see him and Jonah recruited in the safety spots in 2025 since there aren’t many quality safeties in state or OOS considering us. We loaded up 2024 with very good safeties so don’t really need many if at all 2025. We need to get these two top athletes who will likely grow into big time LB for Jonah and big time wr or TE/h back for Terry.

Kelshaun and the other athlete who profiles as TE are must gets as well. Blanking on his name.
