LonghornFan4Ever Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Michigan has now won their second big three sport natty in the last three athletic seasons and that also means the Big 10 has won the natty in football, men's basketball, and women's basketball this athletic season. Quote
Junior Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) the way this game was called by the refs made it hard to watch at times and Cadeau on Michigan is a dirty player that should’ve been fouled out. Nevertheless congrats to Michigan they were the best team all season. if a football school like Michigan can do this after only a couple years with a new coach, no reason Texas can’t compete for championships in the coming years and I think we have the coach and AD to do it Edited 2 hours ago by Junior Quote

Texas has to figure out the NIL situation for hoops. Michigan is a football first school and adapted to the current landscape of college athletics. But maybe they’re allocating more NIL money to basketball in exchange for some non CFP seasons in football. Who knows. 1 Quote

He was running a better program at Arizona, with NIL before NIL was legal (which is why he lost the job). The coach before him did much better (23 straight trips to the NCAA tournament, four Final Fours, one championship) and the coach who came after also took Zona to the Final Four, something Miller didn't do in a dozen years and seven trips to the tourney. Being objective, Miller has shown he's an excellent coach but he has yet to show he's ready "to do it" when it comes to competing for the national championship. Let's see him make a Final Four or two first ... Quote

Projecting is part of what you need to do when evaluating potential of coaches or players. Miller has Multiple elite 8’s and sweet 16 appearances, he’s a seasoned coach in his prime coaching years who knows what works and what doesn’t work, that all comes with experience. Texas has the athletic infrastructure and resources to build a contender with him. Not saying it’s going to happen but the potential is there Quote
ChanmanV Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Another championship won by a team built completely in the portal. That's just the meta now. If you look at the Michigan players, they are physically bigger, quicker, and taller than every other team. The way they defend and challenge shots is another level compared to what we got. We got a center but we need more skilled and physically strong players at SG/SF/PF. Quote
