Moderators Gerry Hamilton Posted 1 hour ago Moderators Posted 1 hour ago 5-star visitor this week OnTexasFootball was the first to report that the staff was working on getting 5-star and No. 1 ranked wide receiver Monshun Sales (Indianapolis, In./Lawrence North) on campus this month on a first ever visit to Texas. OTF believes based on intel that the 6-5, 205-pounder with 4.37 wheels is scheduled to be in Austin this week (likely Wednesday & Thursday). Sales initiated the interest in Texas, and wide receivers coach Chris Jackson has been in constant contact prior to Texas offering recently. Ohio State and Indiana are the two schools mentioned the most headed into the visit later this week. 23 2 Quote

Ron Ajatrom Posted 49 minutes ago Posted 49 minutes ago Does Texas allocate funds for recruiting while keeping in mind the transfer portal or does the salary cap reset in the offseason lol? With so much attrition after next season, the team will be fairly young and somewhat inexperienced in almost all position groups except maybe the secondary and trenches on both sides in 2027. Hopefully Sark and co can continue to replenish that depth year after year. Quote
NothinButDaHorns34 Posted 44 minutes ago Posted 44 minutes ago (edited) Hard to believe he’s not a buckeye in the end with their history of first round receivers and track record of development at that position, But you miss every shot you don’t take. tfoster40 Posted 26 minutes ago Posted 26 minutes ago 1 hour ago, LTWOTIMES said: Is Sales the backup plan for Royal? Or is Texas really trying to sign them both? Texas will for sure lose 2/3 starting wr’s to draft and possibly 3/3 so spending big on 2 big time wr’s in this cycle would make sense from that front. Quote
