harveycmd Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago The Norlander interview was pretty disrespectful. Never seen Norlander treat another coach like that. What's your payroll? Why can't you schedule tougher? Can I make you look bad? Miller should give him the cold shoulder. Quote

Agree 100% … I wonder if he’s asked Jon Scheyer, Todd Golden, Dusty May last year … what’s your payroll Quote

He just interviewed Hurley a few days ago. Didn't ask him to disclose his payroll. Didn't ask him to explain why he likes to cuss out refs and threaten them by yelling, "I'm the best basketball coach in the world! You better watch what you're doing!" For some reason, Norlander thought he needed to play "gotcha" with Miller. Quote

Miller said he'd done a deep dive on the analytics and would be happy to talk to him next March and see what he had to say. 1 Quote
Horn79 Posted 1 minute ago Posted 1 minute ago I kinda enjoyed the interview honestly. Speculation, but it seems that Norlander and Miller are pretty comfortable around each other, so maybe Norlander felt empowered to ask some more direct questions. I enjoyed seeing Sean respond, push back, and show some personality that he doesn’t typically show in these public appearances. I thought he crushed it. The non-conference schedule criticism isn’t really warranted IMO, but it was great to hear Sean’s responses. Quote
