Moderators Gerry Hamilton Posted yesterday at 02:56 AM Author Moderators Posted yesterday at 02:56 AM I’m watching St John’s with today’s ruling. Their injury loss of Donnie Freeman was brutal at the time. Now they have chance to get a solid replacement. If they get the right guy, would likely move ahead of Texas for me Quote

I want a Tennessee-Texas Regional Final matchup in San Antonio so badly. Something would have to give for both HCs and both programs in that scenario. Florida gets the extra year from Denzel Aberdeen if today’s ruling actually ends up sticking … def No. 1 I think all these lists are now meaningless in large part until we see how all of this plays out 1 Quote

They could take a diff approach Could say teams that sign these players will not be eligible for postseason play Force the hand of the schools. Sign them and then take the NCAA to court… would take a while for that to play out 1 Quote

I would wait until every player finds a team and then drop the hammer. Quote
Nathan B Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Looks like even though Braden Smith was drafted he has not signed a contract with the Pacers. Pacers are trying to see if he will accept a two way. Who knows if he would leave Purdue, but I'm sure he's getting tons of calls right now. Quote

Tres Comas Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Would we rather play against Jordan Pope or Chendall Weaver? 🤔 Really hope the NCAA denies these guys though Quote

Texas played against better last season… and that’s coming from someone who respects both players Pope is the much better player, however. Quote

Not sure what's "better" in this context. I'm thinking historical importance. I saw the post with the city limit sign for Detroit, TX. I remember playing Detroit in a tournament in Sulphur Springs in December 1988. Their fans had a chant that went something like, "De-Troit, De-Troit. We're coming at you now and we're gonna rule the court, De-Troit, De-Troit." We won the game something like 77-61. Quote
