Never seen this mentioned as Yacht Rock, but my favorite beach song ever is Nu Shooz, I Can't Wait. Listened to this while surfing in Charleston, SC and Coco Beach, FL in 88-89 as a teenager.

This was never my favorite genre of music but since he's from Texas and was living in Austin playing frat gigs and covers when he recorded this Grammy winning song at an Austin studio let's give it up
