Should be a fun one. First meeting between the two since the 2023 Elite Eight.

Lifetime Longhorn Jai Lucas is the head coach of the Hurricanes. Longtime Rick Barnes assistant Russell Springmann, who most notably recruited Kevin Durant to Texas, is an assistant on Lucas’ staff.

I assume that this game is to help Lucas recruit his hometown.    Maybe give the hoard of UT fans in Houston something to do.  

Is Miami supposed to have an UP year?
