UC Santa Barbara has one of the best ERA’s in the country and has the same number of bullpen arms with ERA’s under 4.00 that we do.

Fair point, so who is your under the radar player that you’d like to see step up going into the regionals, and hopefully supers and CWS?

There is some good feedback noted above. As we all know, a number of posters seem to be all upset when we don't win.  And win convincingly.  

This is tournament ball.  It is not regular season ball.  Generally, defense, pitching, and putting the ball in-play are the keys.  High strike-out teams rarely win a 4-team double elimination.  Coaches do not "save" pitchers.

To this end, I really like our chances.  The mental toughness required over the SEC schedule should be to our advantage.  While the other three schools are certainly worthy, their week in-week out schedules are not comparable.  Our guys face top tiered pitching every single week and often get a #1 in the Tuesday game.

PS: if you go to the Disch......make it a home field advantage

Brody Walls is someone on the pitching staff I think could play a big role if we get into some wild games or have to crawl out of a losers bracket.
