if it's actual law, then it would be harder to get injunctions and they would have to essentially go all the way to to the supreme court to fight it.

Fortunately this makes pooling of rights optional so Cody can suck it.

Apparently only need 75% of teams to be for it even if every SEC and Big 10 school is against it..

Texas would agree with you, at least on the part about sharing revenue.

This is from an article Ross Dellenger wrote about this.
However, as the two biggest revenue generators, the SEC and Big Ten would need to participate in the pooling of rights for projected media values to “work,” Cruz acknowledges. The other conferences must “negotiate” with the two conferences in striking “an agreement that would be attractive to them” to garner their inclusion.

This makes it sound voluntary.
