HookemTexas Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Does Sorsby have incriminating pictures of all of Tech leadership or something? Holy cow they're willing to sink the ship for that scrub. 1 Quote
NTXHornsFan Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago The only smart decision made about this video was them not letting Cody Campbell be in it. 1 Quote
Glass Joe Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Isn’t Hocutt violating HIPAA by disclosing Sorsby’s “medically diagnosed” conditions (repeatedly)? He mentions addiction, anxiety disorder, and one other condition I’m not familiar with. If so, it’d be funny if Sorsby sues Tech for making these impermissible personal medical disclosures. 1 Quote

THookem Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Dumb, Dumber & Dumbest sequel. Do these idiots not have counsel of any sort? You truly can’t fix stupid. Quote
BurntOrangeCrush Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Haha wow. 20 minutes talking about how they have great integrity. And Hocutt actually tells a story about a guy that he met in Houston that had a gambling addiction. Man went up him and said "this is a mental health issue". So there you go. Case closed. You want to care for the young man, go ahead! Thats great! Just don't play him. This whole talk is basically they are surrounding him with support so he can heal. Great. Do it. That doesn't mean he gets to play. Last.... I heard about 5 times he "made a mistake". A mistake is a me telling the truth to my wife that her outfit doesn't look good. He made bets on his own team and for multiple years for tens of thousands of dollars and funneled money to others to bet for him as well. Thats not a mistake. He knew damn well what he was doing. THookem Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago This quote has been attributed to Mark Twain but no one is entirely sure it came from him. But it certainly applies here. "It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt." Quote
Wentwood Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Can’t believe they think anybody outside of redneck nation would buy that crock of $#|+. what a joke Quote
Nathan B Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago AD should do some research. He said that Texas Tech stood by Dakota Allen during his legal issues. However, Dakota Allen was dismissed from the team and expelled from the university. He then attended a community college and eventually transferred back to Texas Tech after all the charges against him were dropped. Quote
Glass Joe Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago It’s so funny how Tech is trying to spin and position some of this. 1. Tech repeatedly says “this lawsuit was solely brought by Sorsby and Tech is not a party to the lawsuit…”. Well, duh. Sorsby was the only one suspended by the NCAA, not Tech. 2. Tech continues to beat the drum of “mitigating” factors, particularly Sorsby’s future career (in football) being impacted. So, you’re now allowed to violate the law and the rules of your organization, if it will cost you a future paycheck? Prisons are full of criminals missing out on future paychecks because they broke the law. It’s called the justice system. 3. Tech tries to disassociate itself from Sorbsy’s decision to file the lawsuit, but immediately uses the word “we” (repeatedly) to describe all the next steps / process following the judge’s decision. That sure sounds like a collaboration. 4. The Techtards keep talking about “standing behind our students…”. Really? So if a Tech student is accused of raping someone, does the Tech adminstration stand behind the accused while awaiting trial? Does the Tech President allow the accused rapist to represent Tech in athletic competitions, academic competitions, student government, or other student organizations? I’m guessing not. But we make this exception when the accused is the $6M star QB. Pathetic leadership. 1 Quote
Glass Joe Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I can’t believe that babbling moron is the president of a major university in the state of Texas. Did Tech conduct a job search for the least impressive, least qualified academic administrator they could find? 1 Quote
Steamboat Willie Posted 54 minutes ago Posted 54 minutes ago Poor Sorsby, it is society’s fault. Quote
