Are there any W fans here, if so what's your take on the season so far?

For me

ROTY: Olivia Miles

DPOY: A'ja

MVP: A'ja

MIP: Natasha Howard

Best looking team Aces with Lynx in a close second. Biggest surprise so far is Portland and Toronto, but then again after the success of GSV last year they really shouldn't be. I mean other than the officiating, this has been one of the more competitive seasons in recent memory. Oh, if anyone has a grasp on what's a foul and what's not or what constitutes as a legal screen please let me or the officials know.

I'd probably go Jessica Shephard for MIP but other than that I agree with everything else.

i am a big Jess fan but I'm biased because I was the type of player who didn't have the handle to get to the cup but if you got it to me on the move it was over. 😂 That's why I wanna play with Olivia if be a 20 10 guy no doubt.

Good list. Miles is a lot of fun to watch. Unfortunately as you alluded to above there is a serious issue with the officiating. Often times I find myself trying to watch but turning the game off because of the inconsistencies by the officials.

I'm also still a little bitter about The San Antonio Stars having left for Vegas. That should be a Texas team dang it!

What's tough is I grew up in New England and had connections to one of UConn's old assistants Tom Moore so I'm disappointed they're leaving there but am happy Houston is getting them if anybody is.

Nike lazy bruh. They did Caitlin wrong with her signature shoe. They're really out here recycling. Her kicks giving the KD 17 or Lebron 21. They didn't think sneakerheads would notice. Like come on man.

Ugly shoe 👟 🤮

On Caitlin Clark...

"The 30-point, 10-assist game was the fifth such total in her career, setting a new WNBA record. The rest of the league has combined for only four such games. This is the fourth time this season that Clark has reached the 30-point, 10-assist threshold, and the 6-foot guard has accomplished the feat against the Sky three times in her career."

Clark has more 30 and 10 assist games than the rest of the WNBA ... ever if the story is correct.

Give me Olivia all day as my PG1, Clark goes in the same category as Luka and James Harden for me. I never want to have to sub my PG late in games due to defense. Clark is going to need a lot more 30/10 games next year, Kelsey is gone next year.

Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings just clinched a playoff berth tonight

If people really pay attention to Paige and Azzi they're really the Steph and Klay of the W. Paige because when she is off ball she never stops moving and is annoying to guard. Azzi will drop 20 on you and never take one dribble. I like what Dallas has going with Jess (Jokic) Sheppard and Awak blocking any and everything. Just sucks they will end up playing the Lynx... ouch.

The Fever's biggest issue is none are high end defenders. Kelsey Mitchell much worse that Clark. Mitchell is -51... which is a wow bad number defensively. Boston okay, but still -9.

Clark's a little overblown in comparison to the perception... she's very similar comparison to Steph Curry in that regard. But she doesn't have Klay and Draymond defensively around her ... that also were space players, shooters and skilled passers in the system.

Fever have a product that sells tickets for sure, but they will eventually have to get more rebounding and interior defensive presence.

The Fever have a product that sells tickets, yes. That's great for ownership, but players want to win. Kelsey isn't a good defender because of size, Clark stands 6 ft and has no lateral movement, change of direction, and very little athleticism. You see it in her dribble. When she goes to change direction from right to left, she almost always goes behind her back. She's really good, I think, but I don't think she can carry a team to a championship. She's going to have outstanding numbers and set records. The thing about records is they will almost certainly be broken. Olivia is already destroyed almost every mark she set as a rookie. But to be a champion, that is forever. So viewership, ticket sales... it's great but as a sports fan I never looked at Jordan, Lebron, Kobe, or any of the other greats and said wow the Bulls, Cavs, or Lakers really have a nice product to sell. Competitors are judged by hardware.
