We just made the World Series in his second year. We will be fine.

Exactly. It sucks but everything will be fine. Still plenty of big time talent in the portal and we will continue to recruit at a high level. They’ll make the right hire to replace Cain and we still have Weiner, Tulo , AND SCHLOSS…Hook em’!!🤘🏻

Weiner, Tulo, retaining studs, upgrading stadium... at the end of the day, there is a program budget if thats what this is.

And the Aggies are like sand Aggies: no plan, just throw money and names at things. Not to mention an unending desire to spite us. Might have made Nolan an offer he couldnt refuse for his family that was better than a G5 HC job?

Anyways, happy Johnteenth everyone!

If these are the choices, seems like Coyne would be the better fit than a guy from Oregon. Coyne is from Fort Worth and has history coaching Juco in Texas. Like what he has done to turn the Kansas program around as well. He can recruit.

I’ll take the Oregon coach.   He’s use to recruiting against the big boys in arguably one of the top 2 conferences as a coach.    Coyne  may be a master at mining talent in smaller markets, hence the Juco talent finds, but not much experience in high leverage recruiting battles.

Glad you’re not in charge

Football and basketball getting an additional $3 million each would mean we’d get another difference maker or 2 in each, I.e., natties. Sorry I just want greatness and don’t settle for mediocrity like some!

Don’t be surprised if some of the players head to college station. Unfortunate Texas baseball doesn’t have the backing like it once did.

It's comical someone wants to defund one of the most historical baseball programs in the country who has been to Omaha 39 times and has won actual National Championships.  LMAO

Bingo. They aren’t getting the boosters backing like they use too.

They don't have rev share either. They are getting out bid by everyone right now

He will have no connections in the south though. Not sure how that helps Texas much unless they are after PNW guys.
