  1. Aggies never play Georgia, so there’s that little issue…cowards.
  2. I’ll take the Oregon coach. He’s use to recruiting against the big boys in arguably one of the top 2 conferences as a coach. Coyne may be a master at mining talent in smaller markets, hence the Juco talent finds, but not much experience in high leverage recruiting battles.
  3. Interesting timing right as the dead period starts and now 2 names are being immediately floated as replacements. I’m guessing Schloss wasn’t caught off guard.
  4. This actually makes a lot of sense from the MLB side. - Reduces the bad early evaluations on the high school kids and capital commitments - NIL allows college programs to be the defacto lower level minor league system - MLB can allocate the money saved back to increasing the slot values in the top rounds These are just a few reasons that jump out but I could see the MLBPA pushing back on age requirements for eligibility for high school kids and possibly other things.
  5. He’s an accomplished head coach and it’s a great get for Mike White so why would he give up that position now to come be an assistant here? Seems like he’d be looking for a bigger opportunity to lead a program instead.
  6. His tape reminds me some of Steve McNair.
  7. So is it possible the NFL declines to hold the supplemental draft or just denies him access?
  8. Let's be real, this is Cody & Tech vs. B12. I wrote last week that Paxton's letter was merely political theater as favor to Cody and Burrows and that Tech would be on island to solve their own problem. Now we are about to find out. I don't see how Paxton can align his interest with Tech and then directly disadvantage UofH at the same time (which is a state school versus Baylor and TCU which are private) as part of the B12 party. I would think his only realistic option would be to remain neutral.
  9. I don’t think the natural field played apart at all. When the catcher struggles blocking the pitch, framing the pitch, throwing the ball and actually catching the ball, that’s the real problem. Tinney’s defensive weaknesses were magnified last night.
  10. Yep, and for all those Tech idiots and their leadership who are defending it as harmless or something else, who else made bets on this because they knew Sorsby bet the unders? This is a serious problem on so many levels.
  11. Such a tease...LOL.... can you at least hint if it's offense or defense?
  12. Joey is safe running his mouth knowing this game isn't going to happen. If he was really sincere about playing better competition, he'd say "we'll play anybody at any location".... notice that Joey and Cody never say let's play OU, Ohio St, Michigan, Alabama, etc... Deloss Dodds would never play UofH and CDC isn't going to play Tech!
  13. Joey isn’t the one running the program; it’s Cody and he wants a return on his investment.
  14. If we're being serious then, Bobby Jones, Ben Hogan, Tiger, Jack Nicklaus ... I'm just there to keep score
  15. This checks out, since Johnny Nansen is now out offering 0-linemen Flood's days are numbered!
  16. Haven't you heard, Texas only recruits tackles now! - Flood can coach tackles - Flood gets tackles drafted - Guards / Centers only go to the league as UFA's under Flood, but they'll get tryouts after playing in the shadows of the tackles So, Sark goes with what works, recruit tackles is the plan!
  17. This is Colt, yep my son named him after the one and only UT legend.
  18. It’s exhausting, watching Flood recruit. From year 1 to now the 6th year, it’s frustrating, every wanted recruit turns into a stressful high-pressure battle to get to campus.
  19. Kyle Flood seen earlier today right after Sark asked for an update on the O-Line prospects🤣
