Agreed. They were determined to land one of Alexander and Shumaker

Colorado had been very aggressive on all DL recruiting. Alexander was one they missed on despite a strong NIL push.

Would Texas try to match CU in NIL for Shumaker? Or are they gonna stick with what they have without going overboard?

Man, they had to really go over the top for that one, I would think. From everything I've heard from OTF, Schumaker and Tyler Alexander are not similar players.
 

Shumaker is a top 50, top 100 talent from my understanding.
 

My guess is they would have preferred him over Alexander - does this mean Colorado just went WAY over the top?  I assume Texas had Shumaker >>> Alexander
