Leffew wasn’t drafted in the 2026 MLB Draft, but signed an UDFA deal late last week. This came as no surprise to the Horns coaching staff. Leffew provided Texas with a valuable high-leverage arm out of the bullpen during the 2026 season. In 17 relief appearances, he went 4-1 with a 4.05 ERA while striking out 31 batters over 20.0 innings and holding opponents to a .176 batting average.
