Absolute coaching malpractice at this point. 

We're missing Emma Halters right now. Gary is slow to recognize tips and dinks. I had to stop watching tonight after the 9th service error and we only halfway into the 2nd set. This team has a long ways to go.

The 6-2 experiment ruined Maddie’s last year in 2024. Eliot looks like he’s doing it again this year. My bet is he scraps it by end of September if we lose to Nebraska and Wisconsin badly soon.

It has been since Sullivan left.

Coach Elliott let's his assistants primarily handle the team, especially during the match.  He's more CEO ish.  The current group of assistants clearly are not at the level of Sullivan (hence he got the USA coaching gig).

I hate to say it because he recruits so well and has made Texas the powerhouse that it is, but it's getting close to time for him to ride into the sunset for the next great coach a la Cook at Nebraska.

So the guy who’s won more than anyone not named Cook suddenly needs to ‘ride into the sunset’ because an assistant left?  If Texas ever hits a skid, sure, we can have that conversation. But calling for Elliott’s retirement while he’s still stacking trophies is wild.

This program doesn’t need a new head coach - it needs another Sullivan, not a farewell tour

Any thoughts on why Ella Swindel isn't playing?
