I think this group of playmakers on their 2-deep from RB, WR, and DB is the most limited I can remember at OU. Including last year. However the OL and DL looks extremely good.  I do think that defense takes a step back at edge rusher this year however.

They think it's their best at all 3 positions. They think they have a top 2 Secondary in the SEC this season. In the board I'm a member on they think every coach is the next great one till he isn't (this year it's Whitten and their RB coach from Notre Dame). They were hyped on Deion Burkes until Sategna was their main guy last year. I think Sategna could fall back down to earth, and either Livingstone, Trell Harris, or the youngster Elijah Thomas will lead the room. Elijah Thomas is the one imo to look out for, if they give him playing time.

Another year of scoreless offense in the cotton bowl? They are doing everything they can to make us believe midteer is so much better now

You don’t get it man he can squat 500 lbs and throw a jump pass like Spencer Rattler!

Now this was funny lol

It’s worth noting how many seniors / 5th year guys are starting for aggy, particularly on the defense.  I’ve been saying for a while that aggy’s greatest risk is there lack of depth.

There just isn’t much talent / future difference makers on the depth chart after the front line starters for 2026 (Marco Jones, Aaron Gregory may be exceptions).  I’m assuming Craver goes to the NFL after this season.

This helps to explain why aggy went full Jimbo-NIL mode in this recruiting class to replenish the dearth of young talent in their pipeline.
