He tried out and didn't get a contract, he didn't get paid because he didn't get a contract. If he didn't get paid, he didn't work for them. Hell, colleges do the same for recruits and they never sign they don't play there. Minor league baseball used to have tryouts all the time. No contract, no pro. 1 Quote

The question then becomes does LSU really wanna take that risk , with the pending federal lawsuit etc. And possibly have to forfeit or vacate games they play in and win . On top of suspensions and $ etc.And the CFP committee saying no to teams that do this. Normally one would think no way, not worth it. But it is LSU so they may win the battle momentarily. But gonna lose the war big time , and may never recover . Quote
