This one. We have never won ugly against an elite team. This is how you have to win playoff games.

There’s so many angles you can look at this from. I thought about the bama game and it was sabans worst and last home loss EVER. a double digit win that Texas controlled throughout the game. And then last night was the complete and total opposite. At home. #1 team in the country. Down by 20 in the 4th. I’m still on a high from the game man I’m sure they’ll be days id choose the bama game, but for now I’m saying it’s last night.

Until last night, I was saying no win in the Sark era was going to top 2023 @ Bama, but given how this win occurred, this one takes the cake for me.  Either way, these two wins are wins over the “titans” of college football.  Were the wins over OU, A&M, Clemson, ASU, OK State, and last season’s Vandy team great?  Yes, but this win felt like one of those “turning point” type of wins for Sark and this program to push closer to the mountaintop of college football.

This was a very different game from the 2005 Oklahoma game, but it feels the same the day after.

Texas had to have that one in '05. As big as the Ohio State game was that season, the Longhorns needed to slay the dragon in Dallas before they could think about USC.

The '23 Alabama game was more like '08 OU, to me. You weren't expecting it to play out that way, but it was the jumping-off point of a great season.

This was one where you weren't going to credit for another close loss. You had to break through and they did.
