Friday update on Texas LB target Jason Crenshaw Jr.

Texas was by Prattville (Ala.) High earlier today to see Georgia Tech LB commit and Texas target Jason Crenshaw Jr. That included defensive coordinator Will Muschamp.

OTF talked to a source close to the recruitment and the word is Texas walked away impressed after the in person eval. Crenshaw is a legit 6-1 and 222 pounds.

OTF can report that Crenshaw is a “take” for Texas.

Crenshaw was offered by Texas September 21. Since that time, OTF’s @Hank Southbroke the news that Crenshaw has scheduled an OV to Texas Oct. 24-25 weekend around the Ole Miss game.

Crenshaw originally committed to Georgia Tech over North Carolina.
