jcash02 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) Brad Kellner gives some astonishing stats on how bad the Longhorns offense actually is. Ranked nearly last in college football in numerous categories https://www.instagram.com/reel/DeXOnniD9Q7/?srtk=ZGh3cm0ydmYzdzdn Sark is never gonna demote himself. CDC needs to step in and take the reigns of this. We need an offensive coordinator immediately. Out of 138 teams 104th in yards per play 117th rushing efficiency 124th in 20+ yard plays Highest 3 and out rate of any team in the SEC (worse than OU, A&M and Arkansas is outlandish) Edited 1 hour ago by jcash02 5 1 Quote
MortgageHorn Posted 59 minutes ago Posted 59 minutes ago If you had the same players that Texas had but the Head Coach and/or OC at the following schools had this same lineup would be anywhere near this pathetic? Ohio State, Ole Miss, Missouri, LSU, Alabama, Georgia, Indiana, Miami, Notre Dame, SMU Quote

This should have been Sarks most talented offense since he stepped on the 40 and probably within the top 5 hes had as a coach or coordinator....thats flat out embarrassing. Time to start checking egos at the door and start really looking at what the problem is and what needs to be done to fix it. This is the kind of thing that really starts to affect recruiting, team chemistry and confidence...both players and coaches. Hard to trust in something when its been so monumentally bad. Quote

This is all fair. The offense is too talented and Sark is too good of a play designer for the lulls to last as long as they do and for the offense to be this boom or bust. 24 points, 382 total yards and 6.1 yards per play should’ve been enough to win the game. That’s not a bad showing against Oklahoma’s defense. But it’s not the production, it’s the fact this offense can’t bust a grape for about 2/3 of the game. 2 Quote
