He didn't play that well and threw 50% completion rate against UTSA (120 ranked). He'll have a few more good drives but we'll still see a fair share of 3 and outs. If he just throws to whoever McClain is defending this week, Arch will look like a Heisman candidate. 😄 Quote

OU came in allowing 23.1% on third down. After two weeks to prepare, Texas went 3-for-13. Same 23.1%. Arch’s last pick looked predetermined to me. He threw right into the blitz while a receiver appeared to be coming open across the middle. I want to see Sark and Arch figure out how to beat a good defense, not just put up bigger numbers against weaker ones. On his last pick, he had a safety coming at him unblocked that hurried his timing up. I just watched the all 22 of all his plays and that's what caused the pick. Quote

To add a little salt to the wound; Venables has a reputation for picking up signals, and OU has Parker Livingstone, who knows Sark’s offense. Watch Guillory on that last interception. He breaks straight to the spot like he knows what’s coming. With the blitz timed perfectly, I can’t help wondering if OU knew the play before the snap. Quote
Jim Douglas Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Biggest reason for optimism: you can make life changing money betting Florida +10.5 no way this team can win by multiple scores. Quote

You’re not wrong, @CJ Vogel and @Rod Babers get on the grassy knoll with me but there is also a Stoops in our locker room and it just so happens that we lose a game against a bad OU team the first year he’s on staff?!?! Guuhlardo Posted 37 minutes ago Posted 37 minutes ago we are all doing alot of talking of firing banks & clearly talk ab the play calling. but what about AJ milwee & michael bimonte job status? just the way we aren’t seeing progression we should with 2 5 star “elite” QB’s Quote

Nah, we’ve lost to OU before and overcome it. 2023 comes to mind. Flush it and move on. Nothing broke, they had a tough game and missed a field goal that should’ve sealed it. What broke should be this team’s FAFO approach on offense and special teams. Quote
