urbanwerker Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Not about weed 😜. Texas Athletics just announced a Noah Kahan concert at Texas Memorial Stadium this May. Cool venue for a show, I guess, sound might be bad. But the issue for us is:  If we book concerts at DKR the athletic department won’t put in a grass field. They’ll keep the artificial turf. Very frustrating. Quote
Moderators Hank South Posted 3 hours ago Moderators Posted 3 hours ago From Texas:Â "Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium has a 100-plus year history of hosting major events in Austin, including some pretty spectacular concerts from artists including The Eagles, ZZ Top, Santana and Joe Cocker and more recently Brooks & Dunn, Leon Bridges and Parker McCollum," said Chris Del Conte, Vice President and Lois and Richard Folger Athletics Director. "Noah Kahan's The Last Of The Bugs World Tour is expected to sell out football stadiums across the country, and we are excited to have his stop at DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium further cement Austin's reputation as the Live Music Capital of the World." PortALonghorn Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago If we're gonna do this and not have grass, Why don't they book actual good artists and not yankees from Maine that pretend to be Bob Dylan? Quote

Tom Petty is gone Willie Nelson is home bound. Rolling Stones are on life support I saw AC/DC last year and they were a shadow of what they once were. It sucks getting old Quote
