That’s late in Mack‘s tenure (2011), Charlie Strong’s last season (2016) and Sark’s first season (2021).

Texas wandered in the desert for more than a decade.

Oh how quickly we forget. That said can we please get a competent offensive line, pretty please?!

I wouldn't....

Which would you rather have, a future nfl clipboard holder behind a Joe Moore OL with a functional running game, or a Fernando Mendoza / Bo Nix type behind the bad news bears?

Neither..... He said he would take Arch with a good OL. I wouldn't because I do not think he is good enough to win it all....

OK. I was turning up the contrast but understand your pov.

IMHO if Arch didn't face impending doom all the time he'd be championship worthy if used to maximize his strengths and minimize weaknesses (plus some mechanical / practice reps on the backyard layups he still struggles with). He's tough, athletic, can hit a handful of deep shots per game, and just needs to think less and have confidence.

It's hard to say but I have seen enough tape on him and the mistakes that I am skeptical.... A better OL would definitely help some though.  The entire offense is broken.
