2025 Mater Dei WR Marcus Harris has committed to Oklahoma following an official visit this weekend. 

Harris and Texas started off strong for the 2025 cycle, however Texas essentially told him to save the trip for an OV as the Longhorns progressed elsewhere with other WR targets. 

Should be encouraging to Texas fans that the Longhorns have all of their top 4-5 wide receivers on the board available in this cycle.

It's a new day in recruiting...we're going to be better...but all the players we canNOT take will be playing against us...OU, aTm and others can not only be competitive, but can flourish with those we don't have room for...

That’s not any different than it’s ever been. Just take the best fits for our program and culture and worry about our own locker room.
