Loganville (Ga.) Grayson High DL, Florida verbal and OnTexasFootball 4-star+ prospect Joseph Mbatchou will be making a first visit to Texas this weekend.

The plans had gone back and forth between September 14-15 or September 21-22, but the visit is now locked in for this weekend.

Mbatchou, 6-4.5 and 275 pounds, was offered by Texas August 13. Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Auburn, LSU, USC and South Carolina have all offered since the first game of the season.

Grab him, flip Wynn (Georgia wants him too, October 19th even more important now), and grab a guy or two from the portal after this season and I think Texas will be set at DL for 2025 on

And get Mitchell to transform his body like Cam Williams did this year and it will be even better.

Gerry, with the Charles flip yesterday and Texas giving out so many recent offers, do you think some of these DL recruits could move up their time frames (or flip sooner than they otherwise would have) to secure a spot with only 2 spots remaining?

Would love to lock him down this weekend, however I think he will take his visits around. Wonder if the visit goes well, he will consider coming back for the Georgia game with all those other recruits & commits coming in.
