And there is DEE-AWN in the Fairfield commercial.

F DEE-AWN, AFLAC, Fairfield, and everyone else who uses that clown in advertisements.

I have a question.  A serious question.  Can Sanders actually coach?

His team has been hyped because of how bad they were and because he has travis hunter and a few decent players.  They are the most penalized team in FBS. He is not a good coach. He is an ok coach.  I have to give him some credit for doing what he has done.   He knows his Oline sucks and next year will be terrible.  If he was smart he would jump to the NFL and follow his sons for a few years.  This game has exposed Shadeur though as someone who holds on to the ball and takes sacks for no reason.  I think his ego will make him believe he is the reason Colorado is having some success and he will stay. Colorado will be lucky to have 5 wins next year.

No NFL team would touch him.  He's not a coach.

BYU completely dominated that game. They had 3 or 4 turnovers. That score easily could have been much worse. And people are talking about Deion going to the NFL.😂

Idiots are talking about it.  Sanders is an internet and media personality.  He's not a coach.  Any NFL team that hires him for any position is an NFL team that needs to sack its GM.

There have been rumors about him going to the NfL as part of a package with Shadeur for a while now.  Whether he started them or the idiot talking heads at ESPN did is anyone’s guess, but they are out there.

Listen to the crackhead announcers on the game glazing Shadeur for how tough he is playing in the game and what that means to the Giants.  Dion will claim he was a success, blame his terrible OL and try to follow his son.

Saying CU is a complete fraud is not being realistic though. They won 9 games. BYU was a good team. the media hype is just out of control.

Which is the stupidest and most unprofessionalist thing in the world.

You can't draft a qb without taking his dad on as an assistant coach?  What kind of crap is that?

Any NFL team that plays that game should be relegated to USFL or whatever is out there as a minor pro league these days.

BYU was a good team that beat CU's brains out.

CSU was CU's best non-conference win and it just lost by 26 to Miami Ohio in a stupid bowl game.   Nebraska wasn't good, and  it beat the snot out of CU.

CU won 4 conference games against teams that went a combined 6-30 in the Big 12.  Ain't it amazing what happens when you get to play the bottom 4 in the conference?

FRAUD.  CU was at best a mediocre team that had a weak schedule.

Look at Colorado’s conference schedule.

Two thirds of their conference schedule came against 6 of the worst 7 teams in conference (bottom 7 minus Houston).

Their other 3 games were against KSU, Baylor and TTech. Lost outright to KSU, Baylor choked the game away on a last second CU Hail Mary where BU decided to only rush 3 against CU’s porous OL. TTech’s defense couldn’t stop a pop warner offense.

Then there’s the whole 28-10 dismantling by the Big10’s 13th best team.

Colorado is most certainly a fraud. The most fraudulent 9 win team in college football without a doubt.

ESPN has Colorado’s SOS at 77th- 2nd lowest of any P4 program ahead of only North Carolina.

Looking at North Carolina’s SOS and how close almost all of their losses were, it’s tempting to say that they likely would have been a CFP team with a healthy QB1.

Mack Brown has to be one of the most unlucky coaches ever when it comes to key injuries and situations working out against him. Like he sold his soul to the devil for that 2005 championship or something.

Maybe someone mentioned this already and my apologies - but when did. Teams from the same conference start playing in a bowl game (not playoff).   Since when is that a thing?

Alamo bowl was tied in with the Big 12 and PAC 12. They had to scramble to find a team when the PAC collapsed which is why they have 2 teams from the same conference. This is an outlier in that sense.

Looking back, 2002, 2008, and especially 2009 were all a case of bad luck.  Natties were there for the taking in all of those seasons, but didn’t happen.  For the record, I think Texas wins it all in ‘02 and either ‘08 or ‘09 if the CFP was a thing back then.

Michigan up 13-0 on Bama. Bama being smashed by OU and UM, two teams that Texas utterly dismantled. Either UT’s wins aren’t as unimpressive as the national narrative suggests, or Bama has fallen off much more than I expected under DeBoer.

I think the OU game was a fluke. Bama is better than that.

In bowl season, when you don’t make the playoff, who knows what kind of motivation is there.

Fair enough. But Saban would never let his team lose like THAT to OU, and he would never let an average UM team do this to him. Also, UM is gonna go into Norman next season and wreck shop.

Nobody is Saban but Saban.

I think Bama is worse right now. But also the game against Michigan doesn’t necessarily define them in 2024 IMO.

With all due respect yes it does. Half of Michigan defense not even playing.

Hmm. I still don’t think they’re THAT bad. But sometimes bad Milroe shows up. Bama’s defense should be better than 16 pts in 1 quarter though.

I think DeBoer is a good coach, but he isn’t  likely to keep Bama, Bama. Not sure anybody could.
