Hi im Boo Corrigan
Noah Thomas is really good, but is he that speed guy we want? I know the Branch deal is kinda weird with his brother but still I would like to see us go get the speed guy.

While it’s still early in the process, I’m told that Thomas is definitely a name to keep an eye on. Expect Texas to host Thomas in the near future, as he’s spoken with the staff over the last few days. Two other schools have also caught his attention: Georgia and Miami. One source has indicated that Georgia and Texas are the top two, with Miami running a distant third. I would expect him to visit all three at this time. I’m also told that Georgia is “in it to win it” and really likes Thomas. This past season he caught 39 passes for 574 yards and eight touchdowns. If Thomas leaves College Station the Aggy fans will swear he was just a spare.

Deadhead_Horn
I would love the move if for nothing else to snag a guy from A&M. With that said, I would ideally like a burner more, unless they are taking more than one guy out of the portaI
Brian Richardson
Sark likes touchdown scorers so this guy checks that box.
Quinncent McManning, Jr.
Like Thomas a lot but that’s a lot of big bodied wrs in Thomas, Wingo, Livingstone, Lockett and Ffrench. Assuming golden and bond leave we need at least one smaller shifty quick receiver.

Ffrench, Lockett, Wingo, Livingstone can all take the top off a defense. Using your criteria you'd turn down Mike Evans, AJ Brown, and Dez Bryant as your receiving unit? Is he good enough to be a starter? Nobody knows outside of the program. Would think the staff would want someone who has show it on the field. I see your point we are a long way from Dan Buckner and Jake Oliver. Maybe I’m too old school X Y Z receiver like baseball batting order 12345. But this is not what we have seen from Sark ever. Maybe he’s evolving to the sec big bodied receivers but his history says he loves the smaller Devonte Smith Waddle Worthy type of guys. Wingo may be an alien a cut below a Jeremiah Smith. Thomas has proven he can play in the SEC at least so I’m open to adding him. Just feel we need more variety if Bolden and Golden are gone. There is no guarantee Niblett will stay though he has been a culture guy for sure. Maybe Butler is the guy we think we need. Not counting on dubose ever contributing. I feel like Chris Jackson is making a big impression on Sark with the type of receivers he wants. I think the guys we have brought in and are on the roster are more the NFL prototype with speed. Guys who can run through contact, make contested catches, and etc. IMO it will pair well with a guy like Arch more than it does a guy like Quinn.

I agree with you - feels like Arch is more willing to throw the 50/50 balls (especially deep) and let the receivers go after them.
