RBs going into Columbus in August…

Recommended Posts

Wisner

Gibson

Baxter (coming off ACL)

Clark (coming off ACL)

Simon - True Freshman 4 star

Stewart - True Freshman 3 star

Staff is putting a lot of faith in Baxter’s full return. Any hiccups and we’re thin. Also not sure even with him that we have the power back this offense needs.

Trust in Sark I guess.

Clark is coming off an achilles, unlikely to be 100% (ie. playing football) first week of season.

Still plenty of time to tamper before the spring portal window, I won't sweat it.

Clark is recovering from a ruptured Achilles tendon.  He may not play at all in the fall.  He definitely will not run practice drills this spring.

Forgot it was an Achilles. Yeah that’s tough.

It just isn't realistic to expect either Clark or Baxter to be ready to play in August. We will need more bodies for certain.

This is the year 2025, 13 months is plenty of time to rehab an recover from an ACL injury. Baxter tore it in early August.

It's not like he tore it in November like Brooks did last year.

14 months post-surgery is the timeline for full recovery. I've done it twice myself.  That puts us at November. I doubt he's ready to get significant time until then. If he does, the risk of reinjury skyrockets.
