goattalk100
PFF is great for grading certain positions better than others. Seeing Johntay rated higher than Wingo this year is laughable. 1

I thought the Wingo grade was really odd because earlier this year midway through the year he was the highest rated freshman receiver in the country. He lit it up versus CSU and UTSA and then disappeared when the level of competition increased. The last 12 games of the year he averaged less than 2 catches and 30 yards per game. Lots of talent but need to see production too.

That factors in heavily to ratings but when Wingo was leading in rating at the time, he didn’t have more yards than Smith or Williams but was rated higher. MarkInAustin
PFF is certainly somewhat useful. I suggest that the very high grades of the DBs reflect not merely their individual talent but their communication and teamwork, which we noted nearly all season, gleefully, at times. yoyocc
Really interesting, in particular Juan Davis and Helm being so low. What are you thoughts overall?
