Bruce Pearl- most likely can’t get Nate Oakes- mostly likely can’t get Otzelberger- probably can make a serious run at him Todd Golden Florida- good young coach that has his team playing well in the SEC. I don’t know. I’m sure there are a bunch of names. Don’t say we can’t get a coach because Texas is not a basketball school. CDC has a brand new arena and will do what is necessary to make us competitive. Don’t say Texas fans won’t follow basketball. A guy comes in and wins…….the fans will come out. The good thing about changing coaches nowadays is it doesn’t kill your recruiting as bad for the first few years. A guy can come in and be aggressive in the portal and be competitive fairly soon. I’m not mad at Rodney and think he is a great guy, but looking at CDC’s track record since he’s been here, he’s going to make the move. 1 1 Quote

Shows he's really is willing to go all in to make every sport on campus championship caliber. He makes the right hire for men's basketball, and he might wake a sleeping giant. Glad you mentioned Florida because prior to this century, they had basically no history in men's basketball save a few seasons in the 90s. Quote
