Haven't seen it discussed so I wanted to know how many Horns do you think will hit the portal? Apologies if this is covered elsewhere.

Looking at a handful.

There have been names that have surfaced in the past that are still on roster. It's quite likely Texas adds more than loses in the spring portal window with 81 scholarships at the moment.

I think the over/under is 5. I am not mentioning any names until they put themselves in the portal.

Conjecture from an OTF staff member here serves no purpose and might be misconstrued as reporting. Plus, it's only 10-15 days away, so we can wait.

Possible transfer portal exits...?

Aaron Butler

Warren Roberson

Ryan Niblett

Malik Agbo

Connor Stroh

Maybe not Nibbs because he's getting some run... but yeah..the others..definitely. I could also see Colton Vasek leaving.. no way they're considering another edge without something being awry. Where there's 💨... there's 🔥.🤘🏿

In Vasek’s case it could simply be because they can’t depend on him to be on the field.  Where’s he going to transfer to with almost no film?

Since he can't go to Oklahoma because it would be an in conference transfer... my bet would be a Big 12 school. Kid doesn't wanna fo far from home..obviously from his first go round with recruiting.

My point is, with very little game film and a very long injury history, Vasek isn’t going to have a lot of options, especially at power 4 schools.  Signing Vasek is literally gambling with your NIL funds.

I agree..but in his limited action... he's flashed enough. In this market..somebody will pay. We paid for Lole..and he earned his keep. It can happen. Most of the kids that left in the portal made waves. Look at Isaiah at Neb... Crawford at Nevada... and the guys over at Arizona St.
