We live in a gun crazy culture with not nearly enough people willing to do anything about it. We have way too many ignorant people in this country to have such lax gun laws.

  Fire away… I know “Dems fightin’ words!” especially in Texas.

Please explain how making stricter gun laws will prevent criminal gun violence?

Don’t need to. I know the answer. The last statistic compiled had ~ 90% of guns used in crimes as illegally obtained.
