That’s because Stanford basically dominated due to the original scoring system allowing them to stack points because they have so many minor sports. CDC’s arrival was perfectly aligned with the adoption of the newer scoring system as well which has allowed Texas to compete as long as almost every sport is competitive - not an easy feat in itself. 2 Quote
