Received a message yesterday in regards to the two-sport freshman who has joined the Longhorns for on-field summer workouts:

"He is a freak."

Williams was given some time to catch his breath following the conclusion of the Texas Baseball season, but is now with the football team for summer conditioning workouts. The early returns have been superb.

The caveat added to my conversation was the focus on keeping him healthy is and will be a main focus for the staff.

How do you keep a safety healthy?  A safety flies up to hit people.  That tells me they want him to stick to return specialist this year (?).

Starts by turning his baseball body into a football body. Work that must be accomplished in the next two months.

Can I transform my body in the next two months?🤔

More beer and sausage,  that'll do it.

Do not stress his injured hamstring.

Ah, thanks.  I did not remember he had that issue last month.  That is a tough one for these guys.  Balancing power lifting and flexibility is delicate work I bet.
