I remember meeting Ken Hackemack when I was about 10 years old at one of those days where fans met the players at the stadium. He was so nice to us.

I'll vote for the incumbent based on his dad being the greatest baseball player I've seen (been following since late Clark Field).

I vote Kerstetter. Local kid had a tough injury and still led the locker room when hurt singing the eyes of Texas.

At 10 years old, Hackemack would have been three feet taller than me I think! 😉

lol. I still remember shaking hands. Biggest dude we had ever seen.

Ken was a gentle giant off the field and strong! He straight arm lifted me over a waist high wall into a bar/club on 5th street and I weighed 210 lbs at the time. Good guy

Went to school with Ken and was around him many times socially. Huge, crazy strong guy who was fun to be around and always impressed me as a good guy.
