syracusehorn Posted June 23 Posted June 23 Was it Prothro (or someone else at TE) who said over the weekend that he really only wanted to be lined up outside? I thought it was a crazy comment considering how important blocking is for a TE. Quote

But I could say the same thing about Christian Clark and OT Aaron Thomas, who both went to the local high school a mile away from me ... never heard of them until Texas was mentioned. Heck I didn't even know who Brock Purdy was until after he played against us at Iowa State (he was from Gilbert, about 20 miles of urban sprawl from me). Arizona produces the occasional excellent player (Bijan, Kelee Ringo, Mark Andrews come to mind ... QBs Tyler Shough and Spencer Rattler are in the NFL now, Dylan Raiola played a year at one of the Chandler schools) but the 2026 class has zero four stars (247) or three four stars (247 Composite) this year and other than the three guys I remember Texas offering (CB Hamiel, Thomas and Jandreau) I don't recognize anyone else. 3 Quote
