Texas has been one of the biggest beneficiaries of the wild west of NIL because of our resources. It's crazy how y'all don't see this and how the new landscape hurts Texas more than helps. IMO this is especially true when competing schools are doing the "better to ask for forgiveness later than to ask for permission now" routine. The "forgiveness" approach will likely work for them, Unless... the new House -NCAA- authorized entity comes out of the gate handing out harsh penalties. I hope it does. Tech and a few others are about to find out how Texas fans have felt for years when the Red Raiders become every opponent's Super Bowl. Quote
HookemTexas Posted Thursday at 02:29 AM Posted Thursday at 02:29 AM IMO, Texas has one of the smartest legal teams in the nation. While the last couple of weeks have been frustrating from a recruiting standpoint. I trust that the Texas team has thought through this current landscape and has decided on a specific strategy that they felt was best, whether it’s the right strategy is to be determined, but I’m sure they didn’t get caught blind. 2 Quote
DeepEddyHorn Posted Thursday at 02:47 AM Posted Thursday at 02:47 AM Why weren’t these new rules made effective at a later date after all particulars had been worked out? This is a joke. Quote
