Moderators Blake Munroe Posted July 23 Moderators Posted July 23 What else, besides OTF obviously, do you all watch/listen to on YouTube/Spotify/etc? I don't necessarily mean Texas-related either, but more general sports related, non-sports related, whatever. I'm kind of curious to see what yall are doing when not on OTF. What are your go to shows after exhausting OTF options? 6 Quote
TTaylor2135 Posted July 23 Posted July 23 My mix is typically OTF, Pardon my Take and Cover 3 especially during the football season. Some Russillo during the offseason. 3 Quote

Sundancekid Posted July 23 Posted July 23 I primarily listen to music along with podcasts/documentaries related to music. A little Josh Pate mixed in. 3 Quote
Moderators Blake Munroe Posted July 23 Author Moderators Posted July 23 So my non-sports related YT list would look something like... Meateater (can literally watch all day) Bone Collector Project Fear (the duck yall see behind me on C&F is from them) Danny Duncan (NSFW but he's a huge Texas fan) Ryan Trahan (best content creator on YT imo, even if he did go to A&M) My oldest son got me into Duncan and my middle son got me into Ryan Trahan. 5 Quote
Jbf19 Posted July 23 Posted July 23 I watch OTF or YouTube videos about playing specific songs on guitar or guitar lessons in general. 1 Quote

What are your go to shows after exhausting OTF options? All In Sports, Locked On Longhorns and Locked on SEC. Of course there are other vlogs/videos that I watch, but usually only when I run out of On Texas Football. 1 Quote

Casey67 Posted July 23 Posted July 23 (edited) Wes Huff (amazing biblical scholar) Joe Rogan (if the guest interests me), Flagrant (if the guest interests me) Various Christian podcasts (Bill Johnson especially). National sports stuff is still stuck in the formulaic, legacy-media style format which just absolutely bores me to death (can't stand listening to folks speaking in sound bytes......especially when they've done it for so long that they don't realize they are doing it.............it's like watching zombies walk) In this new age of media, authenticity is currency. That's why long-form podcasts are a hit (you can't fake it for 3 hours). I sense authenticity from Bobby so that's why I chose OTF as my lone sports source (I'm only a fan of the Longhorns.......no other teams, pro or college, interest me) Edited July 23 by Casey67 4 Quote
Shmatt Posted July 23 Posted July 23 An oldie but a goodie in Angry Video game nerd, some national sports stuff, cowboys report (ouch). Some other game creators and other Texas sites. 2 Quote

Danny Duncan is one of the best YouTubers ever imo. Also Ryan Trahan’s 50 states in 50 days series has been extremely entertaining 1 Quote

4thandFive Posted July 23 Posted July 23 OTF, YT golf (Bryson, GM, Rick Shiels), YT Tesla/EV stuff, Matt Mitchell, Apple music. That’s about it. 2 Quote
Waxahorn Posted July 23 Posted July 23 YouTube has become my #1 thing to watch. Direct TV sucks. I pay them a small fortune and get very little worth watching besides TCM. On YouTube I watch, Sidetrack Adventures, Adventure Archives, True West Magazine, Adventures of A+K and of course OTF. 2 Quote
thatdude2 Posted July 23 Posted July 23 Worship music, Longhorns news, Rockets news, college football stuff, possibly fantasy football podcasts in August 1 Quote
4thandFive Posted July 23 Posted July 23 (edited) I read that Wes Huff is Calvinist? Does anybody know if that’s true? I’d love to have a discussion regarding it with anyone interested, as I believe Calvinism presents a picture about God that is inaccurate according to Scripture. *Doesn’t need to be here as people don’t love politics or religion on a sports board. But messages are possible. Edited July 23 by 4thandFive 1 Quote

He's now raised 8.7 million for St Jude's. I look at the up to date tracker every day as well... https://50-states-in-50-days.experience.stjude.org/ So cool to see so many people and companies across the world step up. Quote
