Moderators CJ Vogel Posted March 3, 2024 Moderators Posted March 3, 2024 History has been made in Indianapolis! Texas WR Xavier Worthy has recorded the fastest 40-yard dash in NFL Combine history — 4.21 seconds. On the second of two attempts, Worthy broke the record previously held by Washington’s John Ross at 4.22. It was a tremendous afternoon for Longhorns at the Combine with AD Mitchell also clocking an impressive 4.34 official time in the group previously. RB Keilan Robinson recorded a 4.42 time of his own as well. But for Worthy and Texas, this record is a massive win on the marketing front. Recruits have already taken notice of the broken record and the narrative under Sarkisian’s staff has already begun changing in terms of development. Big W’s for Longhorns in Indy. Robert Gilbert Posted March 3, 2024 Posted March 3, 2024 So far all Longhorns have performed well at the Combine. Recruits and the media will all notice and talk about for weeks to come. We will have at least 8 Longhorns drafted and that will continue the momentum. Finally, the Spring Game will highlight Quinn, Arch, and the rest of the team. 6 Quote
gus fleener Posted March 3, 2024 Posted March 3, 2024 Lest we forget, Mitchell was pretty fast today as well. 7 Quote
SuperDave0805 Posted March 3, 2024 Posted March 3, 2024 This may be a dumb question but why don't they have the guys run in full game pads? After all that would be a better indication on how game fast they are Quote
Texas fan in Georgia Posted March 3, 2024 Posted March 3, 2024 Worthy x Mitchell become the first WR duo to run a sun 4.3 40 at the same combine since 2003 Quote
