Bobby, this happens all the time. When people send others money they use descriptions like “drugs”, “sex toys”, etc., when it’s not for those things at all  

it is incredibly bad judgement by a starting qb to put eyes on him that could harm himself or the team he plays for. But this whole thing is way overblown and is 100% common in everyday life.

Unless the NCAA has the power to subpoena his banking and credit card records, this matter is closed.

The compliance commission for NIL deals has subpoena power. Don't know if this would come under their purview. Bottom line, they're going to look at this and see if they find other evidence that indicates possible gambling while he's been playing college football.
