But if any of you have land that has Sika deer or Pronghorn (or hell, anything), I’ll give you my $3 application fee instead if you’ll let me come hunt. 😂

My grandfather had always hunted in Wisconsin. When we hunted in Llano he called the deer German shepherds. He wasn’t far off. Deer in Wisconsin can be double the weight of a Texas whitetail.

Just back from hog huntin again this morning, boys. Took the dogs for the hogs and got three in the dry creek bottom. They're hangin now. I guess I'll have to part em out in a few hours because it going up to 103 and I can't let him sit all day.

As a Wisconsin resident this is 100% true. Population is actually on the rise again like crazy because hunters are dwindling up here.

I entered a couple because I want to hunt Sika deer without having to pay thousands for a guided hunt. I also tried a couple of others for Whitetail for the hell of it

Good luck - I mean it.  The cost of hunting has risen so much that it literally took the enjoyment out of it for me.  Here in the Hill Country I will probably go after a Axis as a bucket list (b/c they are real good eating).

I haven’t hunted deer in years. I enjoy dove hunting, great for family outings and delicious. Come on September 1st!

I wish i had someplace here in TN all the land i grew up hunting is now gone and i don't know anyone with enough land to hunt on outside of the WMAs.
