Our current plan is to meet at Gresso's in German Village in Columbus on Friday afternoon.

I want to make sure they can accommodate everyone.

Columbus local and Buckeye fan here. 

You may want to look at Land Grant if you are bringing a larger crowd.  Good luck Saturday hoping for a clean game and no injuries to either team.

You bet.  Guessing you are not setting up anything and just looking to have some pregame beers.  I would recommend the Varsity club on Lane Ave across from the stadium food & Beverages.  Get there early it gets crowded, but they have indoor/outdoor space.  Also The stadium parking lot and or St johns Arena across the street from the stadium are good spots.  Buckeye fans are not all a-holes.  Walk up to one of the tailgates and ask if you can donate for some cocktails throw a $10 or $20 in the jar depending on how many of you there are and enjoy...  I tailgated at a buddies set up outside the stadium with plenty of Long Horn fans prior to the OSU vs. Texas 05 game.  That was a night game so the fans were pretty juiced remember well the Young to Sweed  with 2 min left was the end for us.
