Errrrybody get your popcorn ready. And maybe another avenue to watch the Longhorns.

Google TV and Fox are currently locked in a dispute and have until 5 EST tomorrow to get a deal done or those with YouTube TV are going to lose access to Fox on the service.

They better get this fixed…

Popcorn in hand.  Similar to Fox One, Hulu is another good option as well.  I believe the contract ends today, correct?

Yep. Today by 5:00 EST is what I've seen.

We need an update once the deadline passes. If it's not one thing, it's another.

If the deal doesn't get done I'll sign up for the Foxone streaming app like a lot of others to get through the first weekend.

Same. It’s free and should be easy.

I don’t love that Fox got the contract for this game anyway, but it is what it is.

Sounds like a short-term extension has been reached for continue negotiations. Hopefully it goes through Saturday.

Thanks for the update and good news for the YTTV users!

Quote from a story on another site - “We’ve reached a short-term extension with Fox to avoid service disruption for YouTube TV subscribers while we work on a new agreement,” the tweet read. “We’re committed to advocating on behalf of our members as we work toward a fair deal and will keep you posted on our progress.”
