 Nearing commitment date i assumed he was going usc but apparently now ou?  Interesting turn from a guy that seemed to want to commit to Texas for a long time before Bryant entered the picture  I still have a feeling tech will money whip Bryant into submission leaving us without another offered qb for the class

That's my thought process too.  Tech will money whip Bryant and possibly Jalen Brewster.  OU will get Houston's commitment, but that will be a fight to the end with USC.  Depends on which team has the best season.  I see Texas taking a Trey Owens type of QB prospect for the 2027 cycle and putting all their eggs into the Jayden Wade basket for the 2028 cycle.

Texas seems to have other priorities than Houston at this stage, Bryant included.
