We will see an official statement tonight when Texas drops its injury availability report through the SEC, but wanted to drop some intel.

RB Quintrevion Wisner has been moving well in practice I have learned. Wisner has not seen action since the season opener against Ohio State, but the expectation is he sees the field in a healthy amount come Saturday.

As for RB CJ Baxter, there remains some room for increased usage coming off of his injury sustained against UTEP.

I lean towards doubtful with the 3rd year running back, who would be playing in his home state this weekend. The injury report should give a deeper idea of what Baxter's availability will be, but as of Wednesday afternoon, I am not expecting a ton.

Baxter’s blocking will be missed. He knows all of his assignments and, imo, is by far the best blocker. Hoping the young backs figure it out! 🤘🏻
