That's not what the schedule says. Everybody acting like it's playoffs or bust haven't followed Texas football in the lean years.

the hype from the recruiting classes and the portal that supposedly fixed all our woes.   the amount of NIL and the cost to attend a darn game says that 8-4, 9-3, liberty  bowl season are acceptable.  especially if our offensive guru of a coach wants to play a card every year to get a raise and an extension.   the defense had one bad game.   the offense has had one good game against a barely d1 team

we beat kentucky, miss st, arky and Vandy is a toss up.   everything else OU/ATM and Georgia look like Big Ls. so 6-6,7-5,  8-4 at best with a lot of luck

Lmaooo Ohio state has a young one inexperienced team. The difference is they have a QB being developed and ours isn’t developing. He’s looked the same in all games but against SHSU

He has not looked the same. He grew up during the 2nd half of yesterday’s game behind an OL that looked it was coached by Herb Hand. He flashed. Now, he needs consistency.

The difference between Ohio St, andBama and Texas is their trenches are actually doing the job.  A lot easier to develop as a QB when you're not running for your life almost every play.
