    Coworker of mine was at 1860 Italia, an Italian steakhouse, the other night and noticed the A&M coach eating at the same time. Elko apparently had three main courses, steak and two additional plates of pasta. The place isn't known for small portions either. I've also heard from multiple people that he consumes a steady supply of KitKats and mountain dew durring the day.

    I'm disappointed but not surprised. I've gone to several spring games and its a great experience for fans, outside of potentially bad weather. Its also a great opportunity to bring younger children who struggle to sit for a whole game. I was looking forward to going again this year but nobody has ever asked me to write a check to keep a backup player getting tampered. Last years spring game was amazing so atleast we went out with a bang.

    I liked Barnes. I think his downfall had alot to do with the number of NBA players that came through without seeing tournament success, post TJ Ford. I remember how painful it was watching KD and the 2006 squad lose bad in the 2nd round.

    I read a report that he stole car keys from a drive thru employee. There could be more to this ,but imagine how childish you would have to be to steal car keys from a fast food worker. Maybe they know each other but either way it’s a very foolish thing to do. Hope he gets it together.

    Has anyone heard how Will Randall is progressing? I know Washington has been penciled in as the starter but is there a chance Randall's history with Arch is a factor at TE?

    I doubt we will ever know if the accusations are true. What's interesting is that the Baltimore Banner received a tip about behavior from a decade ago. This tip came in after Baltimore's HOF kicker, with a career average of 89.1% had his worst season ever. A season in which he was 73% accurate, 3rd worst by starting kickers in the league. His current contract which runs to 2028 makes him the 2nd highest paid kicker in the league. It would not surprise me if this tip came from the Ravens organization who might be looking to get out of that contract. Not defending the behavior if true just thought of another filter to view the situation.

    This is the perfect hire. Cowboys can tank for the next three seasons, hire a new coach and get out from under daks massive contract. Start fresh in 2028 with talent aquired through the draft. Cant wait for 2030 when they will finally get back to the superbowl.

    I think I remember someone saying that Hooks discourages guys he has trained from attending the same school as other trainees. My guess is so they can maximum targets. That doesn’t scream team player.

    I think one of the underlying factors with the "quinn sucks" crowd is that he decomitted from Texas before ultimately transferring back home. For whatever reason, some people still hold that against him. I expect most of the future Arch hate will be from other fan bases. Where as the Quinn hate was almost exclusively from Longhorn fans and national media hoping for Arch / Quinn controversy.

    I saw his stats and wasn't impressed, then i remembered what that offense looked.

    I was giving blood when I first saw Quinn's commitment. I couldn't believe it, both of the only 1.0 ranked recruits in history were both gonna be longhorns! When he decomitted i was bummed, and I knew it was thankfully the end of the Herman era. I watched his tape and while Texas fans trashed the kid because he went to OSU I knew he was special. MM did well in the elite 11 but it was clear 3 was a massive talent. When he portaled i was so happy and thought he would be a savior year 1. Things aren't that easy but overall Quinn has been awesome. Not without flaws but awesome! Quinn brought this program back! Texas fell short but its been a hell of a run. Hook'em!

    Most mocks i have seen have him as the 3rd QB taken. In 2024 6 Qb were taken in the 1st round. 3(almost 4) in 2023, 1 in 2022 and 4 in 2021. It wouldnt surprise me if at least 3 were taken in 2025 which would put him in the 1st round. If the Longhorns get the W today against OSU its likely Quinn has a strong performance in the game which could elivate his stock. I still doubt he would jump to the 1 or 2 QB taken. Honestly, for his long term NFL future i hope he goes to a team that doesn't need him to start his rookie year. He can take 68 NFL sacks like caleb Williams.

    My theory is they bet on the games and lost money in games we didn't cover. But maybe they are just haters

    Mack would bring value in this role. The man is gifted when it comes to shaking hands and getting checkbooks opened.

    I talk football with aggies on a near daily basis. They spent years touting the SEC and this year talking about how the 12th man will give them a chance. After making the playoff last year they have all begrudgingly accepted that their team is inferior and will be until proven not to be. They are back in full little brother mode.
