    To be fair, all picks are the fault of the qb. However, both int were due to batted balls, not poor throws or bad reads. His stat line of 73% completions, 288 yards and three TD is a winning stat line. That's an improvement and a recipe for success. Maybe the throws were easy, but Quinn doesnt call the plays. Quinn never seemed like he was the problem yesterday. Seemed to me he was a big part of the success outside of the two picks that gave short fields.

    I thought Ewers played much better against Vandy. Stepped up in the pocker better, saw the field better, took some hits to deliver the football, and gave his guys a chance to make a play instead of always checking down. Was he flawless, no. Did the offense bog down in the 2nd, yes. But quinn did't rack up 108 yards in penalties. Quinn didn't miss blocks that lead to sacks. Imo the reason the offense slowed down in the 2nd half was penalties. Clean that up and texas is much more dangerous

    Yeah big change from the big 12. Texas needs to adjust and do it quickly. I do think they were applying a different standard to Vandy in the 4th but im more concerned with Texas fixing its own issues.

    This nonsense needs to stop. Quinn is very obviously a 1st round guy. Sure the NFL does love to reach on athletic big guys with arms but what quinn does is special and his arm is unreal. His injury history and suboptimal frame are a downside but his release, field vision and arm talent are to good to pass up. I dont know if he goes 1st overall but you cant tell me he slips to the 2nd in the modern nfl draft environment.

    I think Marion is a good coach. I just think his ambition exceeds his expertise. He thinks of himself as a head coach and he isnt there yet.

    I know two people with direct ties to the staff. One was a former walk on and scout for the aggies. They both stated that he is on the bench for outside issues. Suffice it to say he would be really excited to play in the snoop dogg Arizona Bowl.

    Losing to the land thieves 63-21 on my wedding day was tough but seeing Texas lose to Kansas in person at DKR was the absolute lowest. Sark has come a long way since year 1

    Yeah Arch looked fantastic. Not perfect, there were mistakes, but over all it was an outstanding performance against an over matched opponent. You have to work pertty hard not to be optimistic.

    I am almost certain Venables will wait till the Texas game to make any sort of switch. There the dirt burglars will probably start Arnold and pull the switch if the game isn't going well for them. Defense needs to be prepared for both QBs.

    While I don't think the defending champs are as good as last year, Texas beat them by three scores in there house. Four if you include the first drive score that was taken away and five if you exclude the garbage TD. They didn't just win, they dominated which is new for the program against good opponents

    Locally I can confirm aggie misery is at a tempest level. Normally the spin has the ags ready to battle back but that offense was so abysmal they are talking QB or OC change. Elko seems to still be in the clear as he speaks English which is a nice refresh from Jimbo. Also sentiment seems to be that Wigman is a Wig -ger which seems very on brand

    I'm interested in how the staff manages their workloads. When does baseball practice trump football off-season work? How does Torre becton manage physical development? There have been several recruitment where Texas not wanting two sport athletes has been mentioned as a reason they committed elsewhere.(Taylor Tatum) I think it was mentioned that Brenen Thompson had issues running track and plying football before transferring. Maybe things have changed around the 40
