  1. He might have left out a few rows Conference titles: 0 - 1 Playoff appearances 0 - 1 Bijan Rush Yards: 703 - 2,706 Student athletes kissed: Too many - hopefully zero
  2. This is a really bad idea that I'm sure will bring embarrassment to conference members.... but I see how they got there. Potential advertiser: Brett, what are the 12 universities in your conference again? Well actually there are 16 teams, kansas State Baylor .... Well why is it called the big 12? I mean that's confusing for our brand. You should rename it. Well the big 12 brand has brand awareness. You sure about that buddy? Brett commissions a brand awareness study. Brett: So what do people think of when they think Big 12? Texas & Oklahoma Sir..... Brett: Okay guys we need to rebrand! Indistinct shouting and suggestions of moving headquarters to Lubbock. Brett: Hold on folks, lets give Cincinnati the floor. Cincinnati: um, could we like sell the name or somthing. We need money. Brett: Genius! I'll get pop-tart on the phone!
  3. I was surprised to see Alabama as number one. Texas's line was dominant in the match up last yeah and is returning 4 starters. I dont doubt their is significant talent in Tuscaloosa but am I missing something? The only transfer I remember them adding to their line from the portal is kayden Proctor who is just a bounce back from last years team.
  4. Yeah if it's just a straight money flex then I agree. I just think being located in the same city as Tesla offers some opportunities. Any University with means can aquire or rent European sports cars, nothing unique about it.
  5. With all the talk about Lamborghini after the big visitor weekend I'm kind of surprised the Tesla UT connection isn't stronger. I know a few players drive Teslas but it seems like a missed opportunity. Tesla is a brand with cache, especially with younger people, Tesla is one of the largest employers in Austin, Teslas are fast (Sark is building one of the fastest rosters in football), and the cars are incredibly safe which should put parents at ease. Seems like a slamdunk and a connect no other university could really imitate.
  6. I think tennessee could be fun. Battle of the UT / correct orange
  7. I dont have the quotes but I remember ryan watts commenting that RRR was superior to M OSU. Kellan Robinson commented that RRR was superior to the iron bowl. Although to be fair it's possible they would make the opposite statement if they had transferred from Texas I stead of to Texas. All I know is RRR is unlike any other game I have ever attended at any level of sport.
  8. How do you guys see this playing out. What does college athletics look like in 2028?
  9. Nevermind. Apparently he provided the Athletic with a copy of the contract. I dont think this ends well for that coach. Any idea of a replacement target?
  10. Is Saul Goodman out and practicing law again?
  11. Dabo won his the first natty in 2016. Here are his recruiting class rankings based on On3. 2017 - 11th 2018 - 6th (another natty) 2019 - 9th 2020 - 3rd 2021 - 5th 2022 - 14th (start of NIL) 2023 - 11th 2024 - 14th
  12. I was there too. Haven't been brave enough to rewatch.
  13. Any idea what kind if $ you get for being on the cover? Any rumors of athletes pricing themselves out of the cover?
  14. I thinks this is good for all involved. Illinois' secondary needs help and Brooks needs a place to show what he can do. If players are going to leave, my preference is they go to a team not on the schedule.
  15. Happy birthday
  16. Noted comedian Shane Gillis was on campus today. He took a tour of the facility and took pictures with staff / players. The real question: Did he teach an OL clinic? Shane was born a Notre Dame fan with ND winning its last football title the year after he was born. Is Texas now a lock to win a title in the next year or two?

  17. Fun fact: OJ was slated to be the Terminator before James Cameron pulled the plug on that and cast Schwarzenegger. Apparently he didn't think a nice guy like OJ would be believable as a killing machine.
  18. I’m curious which players will transfer out from Texas. I could see a TE or OL but not sure who or what positions will see attrition. Texas has to have at least four or five guys transfer out to get under the scholarship limit.
  19. Wingo has the better measurables but Cooks strength is the polish on his route running and technic. Imo. Im glad we have both guys.
  20. Sanders numbers are concerning. After watching him the past few years and seeing him in person a couple of times there is no way i would have expected to win a bench press competition with him. Do we think he sick, maybe slight injury?
  21. I've seen alot of articles ranking ohio State's roster as the best in college football. Maybe they are just setting up the narrative for Day to be fired if he doesn't win a natty this year
  22. I think 2021 was going to be a rough year due to the 2019 class falling apart, new Qb, lack of talent & depth on the OL, holes at linebacker, and a deep but not elite WR room. Worthy, who was a late addition by Sark had 981 yards and 12 TDs. The second leading WR was J-Witt with 377 yards and 3 TD. Bijan was the third leading receiver. Without Worthy, its likely Texas would have had an even worse season under Herman. Herman would have been fired after a losing season with the program trending negatively and Texas would have been looking for a coach durring arguably the craziest coaching carousel ever. No shot for Riley, Venables, Kelly and Sark. Leaving Cristobal, Napier, or who knows. Glad we have Sark
  23. Yeah, he was my least favorite HC. I didn't want to speak ill against someone or stir up drama. I was more curious about how much credit to assign to the current staff. I know the job comes with a lot resources but it seems like those resources are being used more effectively then in past.
  24. ACC: clemson Big ten: ohion state Big 12: ok state SEC: texas
